Cooperative Parenting (Co-Parenting) Therapy

Research has shown the higher the amount of conflict associated with a divorce the greater the negative effects on children. In order to minimize the negative impact of divorce on your child, it is important for parents to work toward a cooperative parenting style. Goals of co-parenting therapy include developing respectful, positive and cooperative communication with the other parent, maintaining appropriate boundaries within the parenting relationship, and navigating differences with the best interests of their child in mind.
